Welcome to the home page for Deep Clone Development.
Deep Clone Development was founded in 2004 as a way for a group of friends to collaborate on development projects. Development offers many challenges as a lone developer that many struggle to overcome on their own. Be it the curse of the spaghetti code, or dead-end project planning, these things are easily avoided with something deceptively simple: conversation. With a little goodwill and a lot of enthusiasm, Deep Clone Development faciliates the production of great individual projects through the power of social commentary and friendship.
Join DCD if any of the following makes sense to you:
This is not a help site for programming. We won't be maintaining a library of code snippets or allowing self-important snobs to troll our discussion groups looking to show off. If you are a code bunny, don't expect worship for doing things the wrong way - we want to do things the right way.
To be part of Deep Clone Development is to agree to talk to eachother and help out where we can with our respective projects. We have collaborated on some, diversified entirely on others and been pleased to announce others for public usage. Projects are any size, any scope and in any stage of development. Bring us your ideas and we'll give you ours.. for free! The source code... well that's another matter ;)
View our current projects or sign up if you want to - you've heard what we do, now find out if you dare.
Navigate to our IRC page if you want a more active way to do talking. As we're all really busy, we're not there all the time. However, since you are undoubtedly an enterprising Internet surfer, you'll find a way if you really want to. Use the Developers tab to find out information about our founder and partner members.
Thanks for reading,
Douglas (aka. Sycop)
